Lecithin Supplement

A lecithin supplement is lecithin sold to add to your diet, and choosing one comes down to three things: the source, the form, and what is in each serve.

How to choose a lecithin supplement in 3 steps

1. Pick the source: sunflower or soy

Most lecithin is made from soybeans or sunflower seeds. Soy lecithin is usually cheaper and widely available. Sunflower lecithin is not made from soy, and sunflowers are not commonly genetically modified. Compare them in sunflower vs soy lecithin.

2. Pick the form of lecithin supplement

FormWhat it is like
PowderFine, easy to measure with a teaspoon, blends into drinks and smoothies
GranulesSmall beads, sprinkled on cereal or yoghurt, slower to dissolve
LiquidThick and honey-like, suits cooking, sticky to measure
CapsulesA fixed amount per capsule, no mixing

We sell powder only. See powder vs granules vs liquid for the detail.

3. Check what is in a serve

Look for the serve size, the number of serves in the pack, and whether the phosphatidylcholine content is stated. Compare per gram, as serve sizes vary. See phosphatidylcholine.

What Propel Health customers say

“My dietician recommended PHGG and what a fantastic product it is. Every day that I take it, I’m amazed that I mix it only with a small amount of water and add a little bit of juice and I can’t taste it or feel the consistency that I do with most other brands. The dealings that I have had with Grant and his team have been nothing but exceptional. A big thank you to them because they are just so accommodating and helpful. I would 100% recommend this product and 100% recommend this company.”
